How to delete your VOX Play account and what happens to your data. This page is the public account deletion page of VOX Play (the app VOX). Games from the studio's earlier store apps are covered at /delete-account. Last updated 2026-10-27.
1. Delete it in the app (recommended)
Open VOX, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete my account. The app tells you what will be lost, shows how many paid Gems you would forfeit, and asks you to confirm and to type DELETE. Deletion starts at once: you are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in to that account again.
The same steps work on the web at vox.games and in the iOS, Android and desktop apps. If you signed in with Apple, Google, Game Center, Play Games or Steam, deleting the VOX account does not delete your account with that provider; you can remove VOX from the provider's settings too.
2. If you cannot open the app
Write to [email protected] from the address linked to your account (or give your handle and the sign-in method you used). We check that the request is yours and delete the account, normally within 7 days.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile, handle, Hero, profile photo, followers, following and blocks.
- Your sign-in links, sessions and push tokens.
- Your cloud saves, play history, VOX skor, leaderboard entries, achievements, rewards, inventory, missions and taste profile.
- Your messages and conversations, clips, likes and invitations.
- The games you made or published, with their versions and your Make Game history.
- Your wallet: all Gems and Coins on it, including paid Gems, which are forfeited and cannot be refunded (the app warns you first).
4. What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase and ledger records, kept for tax and accounting law for up to 10 years; after the account is gone they carry only an opaque number, not your name or handle.
- Reports made about you and moderation records, kept up to 180 days (longer where the law requires), and a ban stays in force so a banned person cannot return by deleting.
- A short audit record that the deletion happened, with the forfeited balance.
- Backups, which age out within 90 days.
5. Before you delete
Deletion cannot be undone. If you only want a break, you can sign out. If you want a copy of your data first, write to [email protected] before you delete. Subscriptions or purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple or Google; deleting the VOX account does not cancel them.
