Virtual Currency Terms
Last updated: 2026-10-27
VOX Play has two virtual currencies, Gems and Coins. These terms explain how they work. Last updated 2026-10-27.
1. Gems
Gems are bought with real money, or given as a bonus or reward. Paid Gems and free Gems are tracked separately; when you spend, free Gems go first. Gem packs and bonuses are shown in the store before you buy. A first purchase may include extra Gems as a promotion.
2. Coins
Coins are earned by playing, daily rewards, missions and watching rewarded ads. Coins can never be bought.
3. One wallet for every game
You spend only from your VOX wallet. Games on the platform do not have currencies of their own. Studio games may sell items for Gems or Coins; player-made games cannot sell items.
4. What they are not
Gems and Coins are a licence to use features inside VOX Play, not money, not property and not electronic money. They cannot be sold, traded, gifted or moved between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or anything outside VOX Play. Loot or random rewards are never sold for money.
5. Spending
Before a purchase with Gems or Coins the app shows the price and asks you to confirm. Make Game reserves the Gems when you start and charges them when the game is delivered; if it fails we return them.
6. Expiry and changes
Free Gems and Coins may be given an expiry date, shown to you. Paid Gems do not expire while your account is in good standing. We may change prices, packs and what Gems buy; changes do not reduce the Gems you already hold.
7. Account closure
If you delete your account, or we close it for breaking the rules, the Gems and Coins on it are forfeited. The app warns you before you delete.
8. Abuse
Chargebacks, payment fraud, exploiting bugs or buying and selling Gems or Coins outside VOX Play can lead to removal of the Gems, a ban, and reporting to the payment provider.
9. Taxes
Prices include or add sales tax or VAT as the checkout shows, calculated for your location.
