Copyright and Takedown (DMCA)

Last updated: 2026-10-27

VOX Play respects copyright and trademarks. This page explains how to tell us about infringing content and how we handle it. Last updated 2026-10-27.

1. Notice of infringement

If you believe a game, icon, text or other content on VOX Play infringes your copyright, send [email protected] a notice with: your name and contact details; a description of the work; the URL of the content on VOX Play; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury (or equivalent liability under your law), that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your signature (typed is fine).

This procedure follows the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and also serves notices under Turkish Law No. 5651 and Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, and the EU Digital Services Act.

2. What we do

We review the notice quickly and, if it is complete and the claim looks valid, remove or disable the content and tell the person who posted it. We keep a record. Notices that are incomplete or abusive may be ignored; knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send [email protected] a counter-notice with: your name and contact details; the content that was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live. We pass it to the person who complained; unless they start court action within 10 business days we may restore the content.

4. Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright get warnings and are then closed.

5. Trademarks and other rights

Send complaints about trademarks, personality or privacy rights, defamation or other legal problems to [email protected] with the URL, who you are, the right you rely on and why the content breaks it.

6. Court orders and authority requests

Court orders and requests from competent authorities (for example under Law No. 5651) go to [email protected]. We review each one, answer it as the law requires, and where allowed tell the affected user.

7. Digital Services Act contact

Our single point of contact for authorities and for users under the EU Digital Services Act is [email protected]. Notices of illegal content under the DSA can be sent there too; we confirm receipt and tell you the decision and the reasons.
